LEED stands for Leadership in Energy Efficiency and Design. LEED is the best known green building standard. It is used worldwide. The US Green Building Council (USGBC) is the third party organization that administers LEED. Through comprehensive project review and testing the USGBC verifies that this building meets their criteria for their green certification.
LEED Platinum is the highest certification a building can achieve. In the District of Columbia, only three other single family homes have this certification level.
True Turtle and CAT Consulting are pleased to be bringing this level of sustainability to Ward 4, and in particular the Petworth neighborhood!
