Outdoor

Petworth is not an area where irrigation is the norm and there will be no irrigation installed.  However, it is an area where landscapes struggle due to excessive heat and drought conditions.

The outdoor landscaping with its drought tolerant native plantings is designed to use 60% less water if it were irrigated.  However, this landscape is designed to only be irrigated during the first year, and thereafter should require water only in times of extreme drought.
