Baths and kitchens generate lots of humidity in a home. Addition, kitchens are one of the chief places smells and contaminants are created in a home.
All baths have exhausts that vent directly outdoors to remove humidity and contaminants at their sources. The fans also have timer controls automatically controlling how long a fan will stay on.
These fans are performance tested after installation to ensure they draw the rated amount of air required by ASHRAE.
Kitchens are another place where humidity and contaminants are made. Unfortunately, it is very common for homes to have a microwave recirculating fan that provides only a modest amount of filtering of cooking air and no humidity removal. This project has the kitchen direct vented to the outside of the home, which removes humidity, smells and contaminants to the outside and helps keep indoor air fresh.
This fan is performance tested after installation to ensure they draw the rated amount of air required by ASHRAE.
